When should I book my appointment with G.M. Hanna for a suit fitting?
We can normally fulfil suits orders quite quickly; however, we encourage you to book at least 3 weeks before your formal.
How do I know if my school is hosting group suit fitting/s?
Your school will notify you / your parent/guardian if and when the group fitting/s will take place.
When will my school be hosting the group fitting evening/s?
School's typically host their group fittings 4 - 6 weeks before the formal.
What happens if I'm unable to attend the group fitting?
You can make an appointment to come into our Queen Street, Woollahra showroom at a time that suits you.

How will I choose the actual suit, shirt, and tie combo for my formal?
We have 100's of options to suit every taste.
For group fittings the G.M. Hanna team will arrive with an extensive range of suits, shirts and accessories to choose from.
When will I pick up and return (if hired) the suit?
Your suit can be picked up 48hrs before the formal and returned within 48hrs.
However, if you're part of a group fitting, the G.M. Hanna team will notify you of the pick-up and drop-off times. This is typically done in the days before and days after the formal.
Should I hire or buy the suit?
Each person's situation is so different. Simply discuss your needs with the G.M. Hanna team, and we'll be sure to point you in the right direction.
How long will I keep my hire suit for?
Hire suits are typically kept for ~72hrs.
How and when will I make payment for the suit?
Payment is typically made at your initial suit fitting.
Does G. M. Hanna sell shoes that I could wear to my formal?
Yes, we absolutely do, check out our boots online.
What if I'm after a bespoke, made-to-measure suit for my formal?
At G.M. Hanna we have a made-to-measure service. Please note: these suits require ~8 weeks from initial consultation to final fitting.
What if I have a particular look in mind for my formal?
We encourage young men to come prepared, think about how you want to look on the evening, and where possible show us a pic of what 'look' you're after. To date, we've always been able to fulfill every client's dream look!
What happens if I lose or damage my suit?
Any shire that's returned damaged or not returned at all incurs a $250 - $450 fee.
